Sometimes that’s a documentary on a subject most people would rather look away from. Sometimes it’s a resort film that reminds a parent their family deserves a week together. The scale changes; the goal doesn’t. If an audience walks away seeing something differently, the film did its job.

I’m based on the Texas coast, and it shapes how I see. Mornings on the beach, sunsets from a balcony, a downtown and an island town that both live on the water. The light alone is worth the trip.

I founded El Roi Films to bring that eye to brands, developers and organizations. Alongside it, I work on set for producers and directors in commercials, documentary and television, and I’m developing original work of my own.
